Monster Trawls
-A large mesh, Wide Body trawl for bottom dwelling Pelagic fish species such as Pollock
The design of the modified side wings and body panel changes the attitude of the trawl in its relationship to the sea floor. These modifications allow the trawl to fish closer to parallel to the bottom as opposed to a rise or angle away from the bottom. Fish are fed straight back into the trawl body this way. Assembled using the same finest quality approach to materials as all our other Pelagic Trawls, the “Monster” redefines bottom tending designs.

- Extremely effective on or near bottom under difficult fishing conditions.
- Constructed using high-grade nylon and polyethylene netting which allows for greater durability and strength.
- Color-coded front ends now available for ease of repair, deployment, and retrieval.
- Rugged construction incorporates netting panels which makes this net very easy to maintain and repair.
- Very flexible fishing dimensions.
- Aft ends made out of UC Silver knotless or high tenacity knotted polyethylene netting to reduce net drag.
